Pfariso Midalo Lidzebe, better known by his stage name ‘LP MiDALO’ is a South African musician, songwriter-singer, rapper and record producer, LIMA Award-winning born in the Northern part of South Africa, Limpopo on the 28th of May 1997. His name arose due to his initials being LP, which is an abbreviation for his Surname and name ‘Lidzebe Pfariso’. LP MiDALO kicked off his musical toil as songwriter in 2008 and has written numerous songs before he eventually recorded his first demo song in 2011 at MSLP records. The 23rd year’s old superstar has constantly demonstrated a royal and consistent work ethnic both in front and behind the scenes.

‘LP MiDALO found the musical limelight in 2013 when he joined FFLR Records and formed a musical group titled ‘3 Kings’ alongside T-Cole, Veteran and Trio released various hit singles such as ‘Nothing last forever’ and others. During his time at FFLR, LP exposed and developed his musical production skills and found success in 2014 when he produced and released a highly acclaimed mixtape titled ‘8Teens’ which featured house single tracks such as ‘Chatting, Daddy Issues and Zwivhuya’.

In 2017, LP MiDALO came to a wider attention when he released another mixtape titled ‘Drop out’ followed by a four track Ep titled ‘Don’t die inside’ which released in 2018 and feature hit single tracks such ‘Tshelede and Dunno’. His music was well received locally, and he was quickly extolled as a rising star. In 2019, LP released his third mixtape titled ‘Thohoyandou Love’ which includes hit single tracks such ‘Funana, Punda maria, Mukololo’ which was comfortably celebrated and recogniser for regular airplay on local radio stations.

LP MiDALO always strive exceed the audiences wildest expectations as he relentlessly pursues excellence in his musical artistry. In 2020, LP openly introduced his newly personalised Sub-genre termed ‘Venda beats’ which combines Afro beats with traditional Venda sound and the new age sounds. In May 2020, LP MiDALO blissfully celebrated his 23rd birthday when he released his debut Venda beats single titled ‘No Fit’ which is available in major digital and social platforms. In 2020, LP MiDALO signed with Director Maboko, a multimedia and publishing company and they are set to relentlessly thrive together in their pursuit for musical excellence.

In 2020 November 12, LP released a single titled ‘Bona Fide’ from the 0 9 5 0 Ep which was released on the 12th of December 2020. LP just dropped an official music video for Bona fide. The music video is available on YouTube and was airplayed on Trace Africa. He was featured on Haya Ha Muzika (mixtape) volume 1 with tracks such as Ndi Venda, Mukololo, and Mbudziso. Thidziambi De Poet released his single entitled 'miloro yanga' which LP MiDALO was featured on. On the 05th of November he released his debut single titled 'Dzembe' followed by 'Nwali' all single available online stores. LP MiDALO was featured on another Haya Ha Muzika (mixtape) volume 2 by Director Maboko Music with two songs. LP MiDAlO released's first studio album 'Thohoyandou Love ii'. Thohoyandou Love ii is the first studio album by South African songwriter-singer, and record producer LP MiDALO. It was released on 15 Oct 2022 by (VEG) Venda Entertainment Group and Director Maboko Music, a division of Director Maboko (Pty) Ltd. The album features guest appearances from Pushie Da Tall, T Cole Matoro, StamboDeeJay, Thidziambi De Poet, Muledane Hustler, and Wu kid. It was supported by two singles, "Dzembe" and “Nwali" featuring Pushie Da Tall. The album is named after LP MiDALO's hometown Thohoyandou.

Thohoyandou Love ii was recorded between 2020 and 2022, its production was primarily handled by LP MiDALO with production assistance from StamboDeeJay, and Vule C4. The guitar on the album was played by Rofhiwa Mashau and the saxophone by Pfariso Lidzebe. Described by LP MiDALO as an album, Thohoyandou Love ii consists mostly of Venda-beat, and Afrobeats. The songs on the album were all recorded in South Africa, Thohoyandou Maniini, at Venda Entertainment Group studio. It is available for streaming and downloading online stores worldwide.
